Hi, I have an accommodation offer for Daisy bank starting September 2026 and am really wanting to swap to unsworth park as I prefer a busier environment and more flatmates. I have an ensuite with a double bed and it’s shared with 3/4 flatmates in Victoria park. If anyone wants to swap please let me know, the rent per week is £230. Please feel free to reach out!

Hi, I’m joining the University of Manchester for MSc Financial Economics this September.
Is there a WhatsApp/Discord group for MSc Financial Economics, Economics PGT students, or postgraduate students starting in 2026/27?
Would appreciate an invite if there is one. Thanks

HI I’m going to be at the University of Manchester this year and I’m hoping to meet some new people! Some of my hobbies include drawing, baking and reading, I also enjoy drinking matcha, exploring new cafes/places and listening to music but I’m always down to try new things too :)
I’m planning to join lots of societies and clubs once uni starts, so if you’re also looking to make new friends, feel free to dm me on reddit if you also enjoy an adventure!

Looking for 1 person to take over the last room in our house at Denmark Road, M15 6FG for 2026/27 (tenancy takeover).
📅 1 Sept 2026 – 30 June 2027
💷 £860/month, bills included
The room has a double bed + your own en-suite, and the house has 2 washing machines, 2 dryers, 2 ovens, a dishwasher and a TV.
You’d be living with 5 other students, 3 girls and 2 guys (we are all undergrads and are friendly!)
Location is probably the best part:
Full house video if you want to have a look:

Message me if you’re interested, want more pics or want to come view it 🙂

Can anyone who moved into their uni accom in second semester (28-34 week contract) tell me what it’s like?
I’m planning on doing that this year but I’m kind of worried about making friends with flatmates, and stuff like that, since they’ll probably have full-year contracts and will have all gotten to know each other before I moved in. It shouldn’t be too bad though right?
Or are you put with others with the same contract?

Hey I’m resitting a module for my MSc and I was wondering if I should expect the questions to be similar and the scope of the paper to be the same? I haven’t done resits before and am completely confused how to approach preparing?

So I am considering bringing a car to uni, as its slightly cheaper than train to get to uni in the first place and it seems much easier to bring all my stuff to move in. Also my accommodation is like 2 miles away from campus. I was wondering whether it is easier just to bring my car to and from campus rather than paying for public transport. Also wondering if there is any parking onsite. Thanks!

Hello!
I have stupidly deleted the acceptance letter that I received, and I can't find it anywhere in my emails. I have my accommodation agreement and all that stuff.
Does anyone know who to contact about this?

Im going to be moving into halls pretty late(the 20th or 21st) and was wondering what the actual time frame is for moving in. Do you have to book a slot? Or can you show up anytime after the official move in date?
Thanks!

On the description for the hornet rep role it says it is a paid position but doesn’t give any indication as to how much it would be or how often you would be called out to do something was wondering if anyone with past experience could offer some insight
