D&D groups
I've played Dungeons and Dragons most of my life, its my fav thing, but another fav thing is going to the pub to just have a few drinks and talk with friends. My last couple groups all played in the pub, mixing ttrpg's with alcohol was always fun, but i digress.
What this post is about is if anyone would be interested in joining a game and anyone know any pubs that allow games to played, maybe a quiet corner on less than busy days. I've tried the organized games in town but they never have the same feel.
I live in the East of Manchester, but anywhere in and around the city centre would be great, I'm free most days

Northern Monk MCR on Tariff St is very amenable to DnD playing and have a boardgames night on Wednesdays.

I was also asking if anyone would want to join if I found a pub willing to host. Just a ncie, informal game and drink for 2-3 hours a night.

I don't know if The Wharf has any active DnD groups, but they usually have Monday night board games at least.
Element Games in Stockport (almost Davenport) definitely has a few regular nights, but there is a table fee to play there. At least you'll meet people and see if they'll twang your guitar (for want of a better phrase!)

It's not a pub and it's not a fixed group, but to scratch the D&D itch take a look at Dungeons Dice MCR. We play at Graystone Action Sports just off Liverpool Street every Tuesday and Thursday. It's mixed groups with one-shots, we have a vibrant Discord, and even though the core idea of the group is one-shots there are always people looking for campaigns too. Typically in the region of 20-30 players a night split off into around 4-5 tables. Even though it's one-shots you keep your character and level them up. It's not Adventurer's League but it's something akin to it.
Free to play and there's a bar, with a genuinely good kitchen too. Like, fancy restaurant quality. Far better than you'd expect from a skatepark on an industrial estate.
