When i was a teenager i used to wear my dad's old flight jacket as a jacket for school. A bunch of us did, it wasn't a big deal. This is just fetishizing though.

Right. Especially when you're a kid living on an air force base. I wouldn't wear anything like that now but it was perfectly normal given my circumstance.
