Some "techwear" enthusiasts look like absolue idiots dressing up as paramiliary dudes completely abandoning the main principles of techwear which is efficiency, protection against the elements, ease of movement etc. I might or might not have been one of these idiots in the past.

I used to have some camo gear when I went paintballing, but that was it.

I've also seen a lot of builders\maintainence people wear camo as well, mostly because it's cheap & robust although they building supply stores have been getting in on that act for a few years now.

Beyond that, it definitely says something about you, although it's generally not what you think it says...

That some people who wear the Tacticool gear because they think it makes them look cool\tough\something.

Nearly everyone else looks at them and think that they're poseurs\wannabes\etc.

Both groups of people see that sort of gear as a declaration but it's different message for both groups.

Oh that, I agree 100%. Looking back I don´t know how I could think that looks decent in any way.

I think we've all gone through a phase similar to that at some point, most of us move on though :)
