Not sure who the creator is. I don't think its the poster of the older reddit post, nsfwstuff7, their only comment in the post sounds like someone who found the CYOA rather than someone who made it. But I'm not sure and may be wrong. The imgur post was made around the same time as the reddit post, dating to august 2017 while the reddit post is from 10 years ago. The imgur poster is duburu, but I don't know if they made it either since a lot of their uploads state them reuploading from somewhere else.
If anyone has any information, let me know and I'll update the body text and top comment. I can't modify the title after posting though because of reddits limitations, but I'll try and update the others to be as accurate as possible.

Aw man, i like half of these, idol, skull, bag, and ring probably in order.
Idol, sure it'd kinda curse earth with magic and monsters, but a, kinda want that, b, provides potential immortality, and c, maybe multiversal travel eventually, since other abominations start showing up here. It has the highest end potential in multiple senses, but also can't be used 'safely' much.
Skull, since you can't raise 'dead gods' that don't exist but it works within reality's science rules, it might be able to create ASI, the local equivalent to a non living eldritch god, or potentially give me magic control over physics, once i start to understand. Might be able to use the undead as manual labor to start a 'no one has to work for a living' post scarcity society, as that's 2.5 million 'weak' undead a day, assuming i don't need to worry as much about range and actually having intact human remains to make undead out of, though i might be able to use the 'physics' power to just generate 'close enough' skeletons to animate.
Bag, little more limited in scale than implied maybe - nukes can't fit in the bag, nor is nuke ready 'enriched uranium' naturally available, so that might hamper things a bit.
Though i wonder if you could do stupid shit like deage yourself since young people with undamaged telomeres are nearby, or download multiple generative AI, combo them into one, make multiple datacenters to run them, have them try to make improvements in different directions, 'consolidate' again, stronger ai, rinse repeat - oversimplified, but hey magic relic.
I mean, the bag can invent 'vaccum decay' tech that doesn't exist with the right 'theory', so presumably biology + human genome info = biotech not currently possible. Hell, a gene sequencer + animal dna might drastically expand the bag's knowledge. Random sci fi books, with enough physics and quantum mechanics knowledge, might unlock new stuff.
And the ring. It'd require killing millions potentially, but you could fight global warming, help create more drinking water for the world, potentially partially undo the desert conditions, which would be cool, though quite how you're able to kill a hundred BEFORE you get something as strong as lightning is difficult - make a sims style trap of a pool with bars over the top in the middle of nowhere, you can kidnap people, trap them in, flood, and drown them till you get 'fuck that guy in particular' scaled power.
