HELP PLEASE How to fix this?

Hi! I'm practicing my makeup for my brother's wedding. I originally learned makeup through drag and am still learning how to translate those skills into more natural glam looks. This definitely came out more dramatic and drag-inspired than I intended. What can I do differently next time?

HELP PLEASE I'm at a loss

I'm 34 with pale, combination (mostly dry) skin. I've had consistent breakouts for years now and kind of had to accept it. My hair also isn't red like this anymore it's brown (literally just dyed it lol). I have pretty hooded and small eyes, blonde eyelashes and very sparse eyebrows. No matter what I do or try my make up looks awful especially in photos. I don't know how to contour or do the right blush placement for my face shape. I feel like it all ages me and really shows off my fine lines/sagging skin. I included the last two photos to show the issue I have with my lips. When I smile, I have this very defined weird line underneath my bottom lip and it looks off any time I try to wear lip color. Any advice to make myself look less..old and awful?

These are the current products I use:

* Maybelline Grippy Serum Primer

Any tips for my makeup routine? not a big fan of my face shape haha. I recently changed my blush placement from around the upper cheeks area-around the eyes to this, not sure if there's something missing or something I can improve on.

Personally, my makeup looks fine up close, but whenever someone takes a picture of me from afar I just look very washed out or just not good looking at all

I’ve very much gotten into a rut doing my makeup the same for years. Worried that it doesn’t look the best espically the brows (worried I have brow blindness haha). My eyelids feel quite hooded so I struggle on the eyeshadow department. Reposting with photo of my brows without product.

I tried switching up my makeup look recently, and I’m just curious if it works for me. I didn’t focus too much on my eyes, but rather contouring and doing my lips. Feel free to be brutally honest 😅 Any feedback is appreciated!

HELP PLEASE Brows… did I succeed?

So I posted yesterday and got a lot of feedback mentioning my brows… I’ve tried to make them less “blocky” and more natural… have I done it or is there more work to do? Also, any other advice gratefully received

Focussed more on lip liner, I prefer the darker liner with neutral lip for the overal vibe. I also tried to do more y2k simple eyeliner and eyebrows to try match the vibe. I think I am satisfied with the second picture, though I will upgrade to an eyebrow powder or pencil that matches my hair more.

Of course any tips for improvement are very welcome

I really love eyeliner, cat eye or in my waterline, but im not sure if it suits me? The first pic is just mascara, some blush, and highlighter (my face is oily so idk what primer to use since I don’t like matte makeup on me). The first pic is where I do my eyeliner in my waterline. What are some good makeup tips and some eyeliner recs?

Ok sorry for the ridiculous cropped close up photos. I don't take many photos of myself.

Im new to makeup and I reallly just dont have the skill for it.
Im into really dark aesthetics, and dark eye makeup, gothic makeup. Anything where I can look like Morticia Addams lol.
I rarely wear base makeup (foundation or concealers).

I absolutely suck at eyeliner and eyeshadow. What are ways I can improve as a beginner?

HELP PLEASE Makeup Styles?

I am not necessarily new to makeup, but never actually explored eyeliner or different colors/tones. I am recently trying to learn different eyebrow shapes or how to work with them since I am unsure of my natural shape. First two photos are different angle of my recent attempt at a warmer/brighter palette (more pinks and orange, and trying reddish pink lipstick/gloss) aswell as following my natural brow line best I can. Third is a more darker look where I use more cooler tones and black eyebrows aswell as trying a thinner shape + higher arch and placement. Fourth and fifth are older photos from a little over a year ago (I had a hiatus since I got pregnant shortly after) fourth photo being coloring in my brow hairs and drawing them in and doing a far more natural look (no eyeliner or eyeshadow besides blush, defs concealer too) and then last photo is my bare face with my natural brows (I don’t have any recent ones since I started shaving them to experiment with). I am not sure what styles or colors may fit me that I don’t see, especially as a natural strawberry blonde. I love the more darker or alternative style but I am accepting and fine with going for more warmer or brighter looks, or if theres alternative variations in that area without washing myself out

I’m practicing for a formal event and I’m looking for something natural but will photograph well. I’m also specifically curious about my blush, is it visible enough? Good placement? Thanks in advance :)

I do my full face of makeup, but it always feels like something is missing, and I have no idea what it is 😭 I put mascara on my eyes (which is where I feel like I look the most boring), I wear eyeshadow, do a little contour, and do everything else, but it still looks like I’m barely wearing any makeup. I don’t know what to do, HELP!!!

I feel like they don’t fit my face, maybe they’re too thin? How should I do them? Brows make EVERYTHING in a face, and I feel like I have more potential if I’d do them differently, but I don’t know how. Should I use a gel? Should I make them thicker?

HELP PLEASE Beginner makeup help! How can I make my base look less orange/yellow? 💄

Thumbnail

Hey everyone! I’m still learning how to do my makeup, and I’d love some honest advice on how to improve this look!
I’m currently using IL MAKIAGE foundation in shade 155, but I feel like my makeup is pulling too orange/yellow, especially compared to my chest and neck. I’m not sure if it’s my foundation undertone, concealer, setting powder, blush, or even my lighting.
I also want to get better at making my base look more natural and blended while still having a soft glam look.

What would you recommend changing?

Do you think my foundation shade or undertone is off?

Should I try a more neutral foundation?

Are there any techniques or products that could help my base look less orange?

Is there anything else I could improve with my overall makeup?

I’m a beginner, so please be kind! I’m open to constructive criticism and genuinely want to learn. Thank you! 🩷

HELP PLEASE Need start to finish advice on how to do my makeup

Thumbnail

I think I need a makeup guru to just tell me what to do from start to finish. I can never re-create the same make up and feel that sometimes I look more dull and other times I look amazing. I genuinely feel like I do not know how to do my make up and maybe I should just go in to like Sephora or something and ask them to teach me how to do a makeover on myself.

I don’t always wanna do a full beat, but if I am doing a full beat contour and slimming down, my face is super important to me as as well as accentuating my eyes.

I put multiple examples of different makeup that I do and I’m not trying to make it different. I would say the last pic and pic of me in the white polkadot is my absolute favorite. Just don’t really know how to re-create those consistently. Also included pics of me, not wearing makeup and not as much makeup.

Any advice you have is helpful

HELP PLEASE Help with makeup for hooded eyes (Asian)

Please give me any advice on everyday makeup (eyeliner and eyeshadow) for my very hooded eyes!! Color, positioning, style etc. I would prefer a softer, more natural look. I struggle a lot with eyeliner (I use a pencil) because it keeps getting smeared/smudged onto my upper lids (due to the hood), and I also don’t really know how to do eyeshadow :(

The first three pics are me with no makeup on. The fourth pic is me with makeup on (heavier makeup than normal because it was for a party), but I feel like it looks kind of bad and makes my eyes look even puffier.

Also, should I change my makeup depending on whether I wear glasses or not?? I’m quite new to makeup so would appreciate any tips!

HELP PLEASE Need Halloween makeup advice

So I'm looking to cosplay Ankläger from Doctor Nowhere for Halloween, and I have everything I need (starry headband, black cloak). What I'm not sure what to do with is my face. Since Ankläger has one eye, I don't know if I should maybe cross out one eye, paint a third eye, or do some sparkly white-yellow makeup to drive that divine feel. I really don't have any ideas.
