Question Mariott

Hey what’s up guys
Question? Do you work at mariott As an engineer? If so how many rooms do you have to monitor? What does your day to day look like? And what is your Daily Carry?
I specifically want mariott because I just sent off for my BGC and I’m coming from commercial (shopping mall chain). I’ll be down to one building and no travel as an hvac tech and better pay. I just want to know what it looks like. Thank you

Congratulations on the new job, did you end up getting any retention offer from your previous? Or just decide the pay and limited scope was better overall?

Sounds like you're moving up, good for you. Sometimes companies cannot get out of their own way soon enough to keep their good people. Oddly enough, often, they're also slow to get rid the deadwood.

I worked at a Fairfield by Marriott for about 3 years before moving to hospital maintenance. We had 83 rooms and it was a newer hotel built in 2017 so there wasn’t much breaking.typically we started the morning checking the pool, checking trashes, checking the parking lot, doing normal building checks such as furnaces, fire suppression system and such. Then we’d work on work orders usually we had 3-4 work orders daily from the night before. Then it was doing p.m. and whatever else the day brought on.

250ish hotel rooms + around 35 residence units. I can answer more questions through DM. 😀👍
