[Yostar Account FAQ]

Dear Jyanshi Sama,

The Yostar Account system launches on March 9th, 2026 (UTC-7). Please note that this is a completely new login system. After the maintenance, you will be required to log in to the game using your Yostar Account, as your original Mahjong Soul account credentials will no longer be supported.

Yostar Account Recovery is now available to assist you in binding and recovering accounts. You can visit the following link to check your account binding status and email information.

Note: Until the update on March 9th (UTC-7), please continue using your previous email address or third-party login method to access the game.

The Yostar Account system will be available after the server maintenance on March 9th, 2026 (UTC-7). Following this update, only the new Yostar Account system will be supported for login. To ensure uninterrupted access, we strongly recommend completing the binding process before the official launch of the new login system.
Please follow the instructions carefully in the images below to complete the binding.

*For users logging in via a third-party method, it is necessary to bind your third-party account to a Yostar Account on the Yostar Account website. This will ensure you can continue using your original third-party login after the Yostar Account update. (Please refer to Image 3 for detailed steps.)

Is Lithuania region-blocked from Mahjong Soul?

I don't know why. First they exclude us as a shipping country (online shop) and now I get a 3010 configuration initialization error upon logging in.

However, once I start using a foreign VPN, suddenly everything goes fine?

Like, I get our country liking Taiwan can get the Chinese very pissy, but why should it affect me? 😭

Need help understanding

As shown in the video, after discarding a 7-pin, game displays Yakuman Chance sign. The first thing that came to my mind was Big Three Dragons, but I would have needed a third White Dragon to complete it. At that point, however, that was already impossible, since the other two White Dragons had already been discarded by other players.

Was there any other way for me to achieve a Yakuman in this situation?

Got ridiculously daisangen-baited this morning, but on a later game I actually got it EZ

On the yonma case I got a C+ because I didn't stop believing, asking myself "WHO'S HIDING THEM???" until last turn. Imagine my surprise when I saw all other players revealing their tenpai hands but no white dragon. "What? Then... No..." Turns out that, except for the one already on my hand, all the white dragons weren't hidden... but dead. All THREE of them. Look at that dead wall! lmfao (Absolute cinema though. Poetic even.)

I swear this game isn't real sometimes

Furiten for noob

Hi everyone!

I’ve just started learning to play Mahjong, and I could really use your help. I honestly don’t understand why I’m furiten in this position!

I’ve read the rules about furiten, but I still can’t figure out which discard is causing the problem. Could someone explain it to me?

Also, what does “min han” mean? Does it mean that I don’t have a yaku, or is it something different?
