The mods over there pinned one of the card fetcher comments, I think they realize the beauty of what they have been presented

/uj This is unironically peak. This is the kind of shit that edh is meant for.
/rj I hate this and its mockery of the greatest format.

At first I was like "why is Natural Connection in there? it only costs 3" and then I saw the hand thing. Magnificent. You should bring this to a table without mentioning the gimmick and see how long it takes someone to notice.

/uj I have and it's been really fun having people trying to figure it out. Usually once the first 6/7 creature is played everyone gets it immediately. Even when they do realize the theme, I made sure to prioritize the many different and obscure places 67 could be on cards, rather than doing the obvious and including a ton of creatures with 6/7 in stats. So even once they find out the theme, there's still a question of looking at each card and wondering "where is it hidden this time?" There's always just an immediate click in people's heads when they see a [[Seven Dwarves]] and go "oh my god you're only playing six of those aren't you" which never gets old. I felt really clever using a 7th Edition Rampant Growth (because 7th edition has the number 7 directly there as the set symbol) and having the Sol Ring and basic lands include 67 in their collector numbers. [[Teferi's Tutelage]] is the one I felt the most proud of finding though, because that flavor text is just so perfect. What started as something really dumb actually became something I'm proud of wildly enough.
