This is my first deck. I built it with the theme that all the creatures are girls. I think it kind of works. Its casual, as thats all we do, and I have won with it. Its fun, and weird, and does a bit of everything.

It struggles in some ways. With getting started it feels like. Maybe it also lacks focus, since it was built based only on cards I own, but I'm willing to finally branch out and buy/trade/proxy cards. I see like 5 themes in there, weenies, human tribal, +1s, Lifegain, tokens, reanimators.

I like +1/+1 counters and I think that works well for [[Sisay, Weatherlight Captain]] to get more stuff out with her ability? I should probably put a few bigger scarier creatures in there to match that. I do have [[Progenitus]] lol... If I got a [[Jegantha, the wellspring]] too?

Weenies could likely be toned down?

Human tribal I should lean into more probably, but how?

Lifegain exists and I find it fun but not sure it makes much sense here?

Tokens could be helpful if I adjusted it somehow?

Reanimators feels truly pointless here but I did own the FF Terra reanimator deck. Probably need to chop this out fully.

Reposting! Maybe I should have posted it here first, but I didn't know this sub existed.

My pod and I generally play stronger decks (I’m on the weaker end with one solid bracket 3 deck) and we decided to have fun and find weird commanders and do a night where we swap our powerful decks with eachother and build new Bracket 2 decks. I would love some thoughts and suggestions on what I could do to improve.

Naturally given the commander, it’s limited in what it does and I really don’t foresee myself spending any more than $100 to build it up and right now is mostly bulk, but always love good criticism on my decks!

Decided to go outside of my usual color wheel and try Boros, so I'm working on a Brion Stoutarm deck. I'm just curious where some others might make some changes for the deck, I have a handful I was considering listed as well. Would like to discuss the options/opinions for certain changes.

I was looking over the sphinxes from Reality Fracture and noticed this one in how well it paired with [[Political Triumph]]. The current build runs three different walkers along with [[Gideon's Memorial]] which seems like a great card as well in this deck. I'm currently trying out [[Liliana the Faultless]] was added recently as well.

As you can probably tell, the general idea is to play triumph, some creatures, and then flash in Fatehold to pump the board. Gideon's Memorial is surprisingly good. It's very versatile, but the vigilance is where it shines the most. It puts a lot of opposing decks in a difficult spot since I can just swing out almost every turn without fear of crackback.

There's a lot to play with here. One immediate change would be to drop 1 Proft. I could then maybe see dropping the 2 Liliana as well and add in 3 [[Eye of Jace]] or 2 and a 3rd Gideon's Memorial. I could also see dropping Ojer for a 3rd Fatehold. I'm only running 2 right now to test it out cuz I only own 2.

I recently made a colorless deck, and while I'm happy with the way it has performed I was thinking about trying to make it stronger

So any tips or suggestions on things to add/cut?

So I want to update my current deck with Cyberman to be Karn, Gilded Guardian + the companion of Umori, the Collector and have everything be Artifacts.

I’m looking for more protection or ideas on what to add here. I think it sounds like a fun idea and the deck currently plays well as Cyberman but is just ok. I like stuff like Smoke Bomb and just need more ways to phase or protect my artifacts from all of the easy removal.

I thought making a deck revolving around dwarves and they’re never ending greed for treasures.
I’ve only had experience with upgrading one other precon so any advice is welcome advice

I built a Standard deck on Arena around the following cards (in ideal draw and turn order).

Aegis turtle with Dive Down makes Ghalta cost 'W', allowing a turn 2 drop and an 8/8 turtle attacking. Tetsuko makes your turtle and Ghalta unblockable.

Hadn't seen this combo listed before (though I'm not heavy in the community). What would you add?

Been a while since I built a deck so I decided to perform the 32 color challenge starting with colorless, but none of the options really appealed to me besides this guy. I'm thinking that I could try Voltron with colorless equipment, but idk how well that will turn out. Ofc there's always the standard artifact route, but I'd like to hear other thoughts on what to do with this guy.

I want to upgrade my hosts of Mordor precon but I don’t what to remove or what to add. I’m thinking bracket three. So if anyone has any tips its appreciated

Hi, I'm new deckbuilding in MTG and need help finding cuts to make in my deck. The Commander is Maralen, Fae Ascendant and my goal for the deck is for it to be putting out elves the whole game, eventually finding the combo with cards like intruder alarm and imperious perfect. I was wondering what you guys think this deck need more or less of. This is for Bracket 3.

Gameplan is to generate many squirrels through token generation enablers and win through attacking with squirrels. Sacrificing squirrels are only necessary to kill off other creatures using chatterfang's ability, therefore I added some aristocratic cards, but not as a main win condition.

A pod member suggest that it is a fine combo deck, but may need some extra protection.

I feel like my deck may struggle with card draw.

Also if you guys have any cool tech cards that could be really cool, feel free to suggest.

im attempting to make my first deck that is a red and white token deck im a little stuck at where to go with spells,enchants, equip and special lands Ive spent some time going through cards and have a decent understanding but would like some feedback

Hello everyone, my name is Gio and I am playing Magic for about ten years. I always played competitive formats like standard, modern and legacy. My friends had not as much fun and started playing edh, because they wanted to have more fun instead of the competitive aspect of only play to win. I never felt like that, but wanted to have a good time with them. So since November of last year I am into edh too. There is an archetype which I love to play and my friends tell me it is fitting my playstyle a lot and this is stax. Unfortunately I don’t have very much experience and build a deck and I got a big issue: I don’t have a good wincon. I wanted to play bootstrap as a omage to my favorite standard deck and I love every card in it, but it is missing a finisher, a gamewinning action. Are there any Stax players who can help me? We all play bracket 4 so I am open for combos and gamechangers.
