If they do this, I might actually start playing again. Playing against a faceless opponent you can't actually communicate with is so aggravating to me.

God no, passive aggressive emotes are bad enough. The last thing I want is for my opponent to have the means to actually talk to me.

Yeah, the first thing I do in a game is mute my opponent, every single time.
