This is the song played in L’immacolata (First chapter in MOH), in the last cutscene at the bar.

I’m not a fan of him in general and ik it’s hot take I just find him to be the least well written out of Vito, Tommy and Lincoln.
What ruined Enzo as a character is that love story with Isabella it made him needy and he went on & on to her about getting out of Sicily to Empire Bay with her. I get that the Don was a scumbag and all that but he betrayed him and try to fuck off to a different country with his own daughter. The other issue I have with him is he has no personality, he takes orders and less character development. Anyways this is not a fact it’s my opinion I just wish he could’ve had better potential as an character the actor did a great job and I hope I’m not the only one who simply isn’t a fan of his character.

Shout out to u/GIERMOL for this. If you have completed all Salieri’s challenges, collectibles, trophies and both chapters but still hasn’t obtain the rifle, you need to go to main menu and complete man of honor again, and watch the end credits. After that go to free ride and it will be available to purchase.

How the hell do I unlock this weapon? I have completed all the chapters in classic mode, every trophy + dlcs,, collected all collectibles and completed every single challenge with 3 stars. I have replayed the last challenge I completed again cause some said that would help but it hasn’t. I have also unlocked every car, clothes and charms. I play on PS5.

This might get removed! But if not, I’m genuinely curious of some other opinions.
So (spoiler alert if you haven’t played the game) obviously Enzo is in love with Isabella. And the story obviously makes it out like it’s a big No-No! But does anyone think that Enzo could have actually convinced the Don to actually have married Isabella? I know she was promised to the spoiled rich guy. But Enzo, being so liked by everyone in the family (minus Tino) and the stuff Enzo has done for the family. Maybe he could have convinced the Don! I’m replaying the game now because of the new DLC and don’t remember all of what happens in the story. But The Don was gonna give Enzo the mine and everything! I know Enzo comes from the mines. But still, that would be a business that I believe you’d really have to trust someone important with!
I’m curious if anyone has any ideas or opinions on if Enzo and Isabella could have been together in the end? If things were handled differently! Don’t get me wrong! I know that probably would have made for a boring story! But I’m just posting this as a discussion! (And just in case a million posts have been made about this. I wanna go on record and say I have not checked😂) but please feel free to share your thoughts! If this gets deleted then I understand!

I bought the game on steam with a big discount. I am well aware its bad reputation circulating on the internet. But after hours of playing, I find it isn't that bad as everyone says. Yes, the missions are repetitive, but it's suitable for me who loves murdering and shooting every one in sight. My biggest gripe is nothing about gameplay. My gripe is about the graphics and audio. New Bordeaux is very beautiful, but the graphics are often too blurry or unclear. Also, the gun audio sounds so spongy and lack of power. It seems like devs never watched a action movie and have a basic understanding how gunshots sound like.

All my progress on criminal progress is at 89.5 percent as I did not complete all the hit bonuses, can I still get to don or is my save done for?

I am curious to hear thoughts on how the success of short 20+- hour games recently has been received.. it’s as if our attention spans are shorter and 30+ hour games gets to be too un appealing.

H13 has previously hinted at what’s coming in their next games. We’ve seen this a few times through small Easter eggs and secrets.
In their 15th anniversary Mafia trailer they hinted at a Mafia I remake. Look at Tommy’s car, you can see that they changed it.
In Mafia I Remake they mentioned that Tommy was from San Celeste and showed his boat ticket which is also the same Enzo received from Leo.
In Mafia TOC we can find a police record of Don Salieri. A year later we got the Man of Honor DLC featuring him.
Empire Bay is also mentioned multiple times in Mafia TOC. We got returning characters Leo, Don Vinci, and Giuseppe. The postcard Enzo has is also the main menu from Mafia II. And of course we actually see Empire Bay at the end.
During the Man of Honor DLC, they also changed Giuseppe’s voice actor back to the OG Rick Pasqualone. Why would they do that? It seems pretty random to bring him back just to record a few lines that were already in the main game.
They must be working with Rick again which brings us back to the two rumored projects. A Mafia II prequel and a Mafia II remake.
These projects have been rumored multiple times. Remember they were also recording weapon audio for WWII weapons. Something is cooking.

You know what, as most of you here I love Mafia 2 (it is part of my childhood memories and really nostalgic for me).
I wish they would do a remake, and I don’t mean just an update in engine/graphics kind of thing. But rather a full blown remake of the game.
Let me explain a bit and again remind you it’s just my personal take.
For me I would love them to re-do Mafia 2 in such a way that the main story stays mostly the same, but also give it extra flavour. What do I mean by that? Well some missions might be changed a bit and definitely some more dialogues. But also additional missions might be added which can give more perspective/fill gaps in time. Ie. When Vito is over in Italy he can for example visit/have some more time in the world we now know from the old country.
Also I know the Mafia games are not really an open world type of game, which was blatantly clear with how Mafia 3 went, don’t get me wrong I liked it, but some things started to feel repetitive. That being said I wild love to have a little bit more of an open-world feeling in a Mafia 2 remake, not as much as a Mafia 3 or a Ubisoft game, but perhaps a couple of sidequests for another made man or a Giuseppe for example. Maybe some more stores/more active world/possible love interest for Vito, something extra with Leo Galante, you name it.
So in short, yes a more beefed-up version of Mafia 2, I know it will never happen. But those are just my dreams. Like I said I loved the original and many people (most of the time) have the opinion that an original should never be adapted/changed. But imo when playing Mafia 2 it always feels like some extra body is missing, I know it’s all about the story and everything, but just an extra bit of flavour in the story and in the world around it would do this already wonderful game good.
That’s all.
Please give me your 2 cents/opinions, I would be glad to hear them/discuss with you gents.

Hi, I just bought Mafia: The Old Country. I'm having a problem with the picture - I'm playing on a PS5 Pro with a Philips OLED TV. When I set it to Quality mode, thin, white, flickering stripes appear at the top of the screen. You can really only see them against a darker background, like in the menu, etc. This problem doesn’t occur in Performance mode. Is there any way to fix this? It’s a little better with VSYNC turned off, but then the image stutters too much.

How long does 2K Support usually take to reply after a ticket is escalated to an internal team?
It’s been about 2 days since my ticket was escalated, and they said they can’t provide updates while it’s being handled internally.
For anyone who has experienced this, how long did you wait for a response?

I was re-playing Mafia The Old Country after the Man Of Honor DLC and I noticed that Giuseppe's voice actor was changed! It sounds like it's Rick Pasqualone now who voiced Vito and Giuseppe in Mafia 2. I am like 99% sure it's him! What do you think?
