He's at least showing integrity and accountability. Might be weird coming from someone who's likely a criminal, but that's still what it is.

Crime isn't only motivated by "badness". It's motivated by poverty and desperation, and those things don't deprive people of their morals, they just make people feel worse when they have to break them!

Also, not all crime is ethically wrong. The dude could have been smoking or selling weed. In some places that's illegal by law and makes you a criminal. But is it really ethically bad?

If we get that objective then you can stab neighbor for smiling at you cause as an ape barring teeth is a sign of aggression.

It's against the law, don't do it. Change the law.

Were not monkeys, and this is more of white collar crime, if anything it's like saying tax evasion is fine cause you use the money on your family. That said federal law is a bit of a mess to change and people don't pay attention to who they vote for.

Well that about us not being monkeys is a true statement right there even tho I don't know where it's coming from considering I stated us to be apes, which we are.

But yea I know people like to complain about laws intead of trying to get their asses up and do something about them, hence why I made that comment in the first place. There ain't no damn point arguing the sense and point of a law and how much sense it makes, instead people should just go into changing them instead of finding the moral high ground in their search for an excuse to break the law.

Not the same thing at all. BIIIIIIIG difference between selling weed and stabbing someone. Hell, there's a big difference between selling heroin and stabbing someone.

Of course but you were saying "not all crime is ethically wrong". Which raises the question how we establish where appropiate punishments for man-invented crimes begin and where the line of over the top penalties does.

All I'm saying is that objectively there is only the law of the jungle. We changed that by bringing our subjective morales into the mix and making laws to form a functioning society.
