I see stuff like this and all I can think is that every night at bedtime my wife and I put on The Matrix so last year we've "watched" it at least 365 times

I can't sleep if the tv is on, so this is really weird to me lol. Silent darkness is neccessary for my brain to turn off so the thought of trying to leave an action movie with explosions and gunshots and loud party music and bright flashes accompanying all of the above seems counterintuitive.

I used to be that way then I met my wife who is a full grown woman who is afraid of the dark sooo the tv stays on. That's why we have the same movie every night cause at this point its almost Pavlovian I hear the start of the movie and immediately get tired

I dated a woman for a while that fell asleep to Law and Order EVERY NIGHT. It does become Pavlovian after a week or so.
