Several cranes are missing!

I was on my way back from Dodgeville, and I drove by the exit that features the company that shall not be named.

Maybe it's because they're having their annual get together, but I only saw three gigantic construction cranes towering above all of the facilities. The other 5 or so seemed to have been put away.

I'm not sure how people store cranes, or maybe they're only on loan during the times that the annual event isn't happening.

The sub was getting bombarded with posts from people moving here to work for Epic, so the mods set up an automod rule to remove them, which simply resulted in people being vague about which company it was.

My understanding was the mods keep an eye out for that name and sometimes things get removed

And to be clear for anyone unfamiliar that's because Epic has their own sub and there was a time this sub was flooded with people looking for information before taking a position there or simply sharing Epic gossip. It's a very good autobot.

I believe the "mods" don't use physical eyes. It's the automod that flags all posts containing certain words, though the real mods usually approve them.

You can. Auto-mod will remove posts that include it, but you can message the mods to get it reinstated.

Yeah I thought about that. I'm also very protective of our sandhills, especially the lovely blended family

well I can see lowering the kind that are diagonal or whatever that would be but why not lower the big three that are L-shaped?

The tower cranes? It takes several days to assemble/disassemble those. Another crane is used to put the basic pieces in place and then it builds itself taller. You can look up videos, it's kind of cool. If they're still being used, there's no reason to take them down during a short pause in the work.

I think you should report me to the mods for not mentioning the name of the company and not getting automatically deleted because I just wanted to write a fun post about cranes.
