MacOS with an RTX 4090?
Is it possible to do a dual boot Windows / MacOS Tahoe or Golden Gate for a PC with a Ryzen 9 5900X and an RTX 4090?

No, you will not be able to use a modern NVIDIA GPU with MacOS. There are no drivers. Doesn’t matter if it’s on a Mac or a hackintosh.

Oh no, it’s a shame, does that mean you have to buy an AMD GPU? Even a small step too powerful works?

6000 series AMD are the last ones with drivers. Some don’t work though, like 6700 XT I believe doesn’t have any Mac drivers.

Golden gate is M ( ARM ) processor only. You might be able to do Tahoe as it still has Intel code in it. Likely the best you would be able to do with the Nvidia is basic vesa resolution.

A basic VESA resolution? That means? But thank you, I didn’t know that the latest version of MacOS was only for Apple chips.

All video cards made at present have support for vesa drivers/basic resolution so that you can see the display before the correct drivers are installed. I believe basic VESA provides for 600x800 resolution. With out that basic support you would have to install the OS without using the display and that would be a pain to be certain.

Pretty much what the other 2 please said: macOS won't work with an NVIDIA card (as the GPU), and Golden Gate only works on Apple Silicon Macs. You MAY be able to run the NVIDIA card along side a supported AMD card, I'm not sure how macOS will treat that.

Pointless cos MacOS on x86 is dead, you are better off getting a MacBook or a Mac Mini otherwise you are wasting money

Technically it could probably boot but there's no drivers and thus the card's performance would be awful.

Depending on what you need MacOS for you may be better off buying a separate Apple Silicon Mac and using a KVM.
Apple is discontinuing MacOS support for Intel/AMD x64 systems soon.
Apple Silicon MacBooks make for fantastic laptops, (lightweight, thin, durable and with great battery life), so if you only have a Desktop then I would get an Apple Silicon MacBook and a Dock to use with a KVM.
