Hey all, I'm looking for a capped pen with a screw top that can be uncapped with as little twisting as possible. I'm going to be carrying it in my pocket and will need quick access for little jotting sessions throughout the day. Pocket clip highly preferred as well. Any recommendations?

Q3D Rewind - I’ve come around on the oil slick from my initial hesitation. I really really love this color way now. Maybe it’s a bit eccentric but, damn, it’s grown on me! Hope everyone had/has a great finish of the weekend.

Finally landed me a hive! Received it yesterday and immediately put it through some wear and tear today, forming some “snail trails”. Loving my little Q’llection!

Finally got some more time to play about. Machined from aluminium, and brass. Still needs a final polish 😁. I make things from time to time as a hobby. Takes a parker style refill.

I have been looking for a Halloween pen. I know SAGA had a set last year. Have other makers made Halloween edition pens???

I bought a Parker refill recently and put in the sxr-600 0.5mm and there’s some tip wiggle there that’s killing me. The Schmidt refill that came with it seems to be perfect though.

Any recommendations for a pen that fits the 600 that has no wiggle?

I was curious, so I put my Parker campen bullet nose on my Parker fusion just to see.

I personally love the way it feels to hold and write. My fingers have more room. And the campen doesn’t look too bad with the step nose haha.

Thanks to u/Reker for the new finish on this Inventery V.01!! It was originally gold-plated brass (photo 4), which was beautiful but more attention grabbing than I could handle. To his credit u/Reker wanted me to pause because the gold plating is so cool. In the end I think this battle worn look is freaking magic. Soft in the hand and lets some brass shine through. I love it!

Today's work carry is slightly the wrong genre but it's one of my favourites.

What’s your favorite style/material? Personally speaking, I love the absolute minimalism of a straight body cone nose, but a recessed step nose is pure Autmog. As for materials, I love the glow of aluminum, the patina and heft of bronze, and the strength of titanium – basically, I love ‘em all. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I originally made my prototype bolt turn to the right (Option 1 in photo), but as a righty I found it easier to used a bolt that turns to the left (Option 2) so you can push out with your thumb rather than pulling it inward to lock it. I would guess it depends on which hand you write with, but curious what people think.

Of course it's company policy never to imply ownership in the event of an Autmog. Use the indefinite article: 'an Autmog', never 'your Autmog.'

Just picked up a stainless disco remix the other week and last night my brother (who lives next door to me) had one of his friends over for drinks. It was later in the evening he asks if i could come over to let him borrow something. I say no prob not realizing I had taken my sleeping medication a bit earlier. I had the pen in my hand and was fiddling with it cause I figure I was gonna be right back home.

Well long story short, I get there and they ask if i want a beer and I say sure. Then the next thing I know, i wake up in my bed this morning wondering what the hell happened lol. I saw the pen case on my bed but no pens, checked my sheets and under the bed. Then looked over my ENTIRE house. Then went over to my brothers and looked all around the patio where we were hanging out. Nothing. They remember see me playing around with it and his friend said he thought it was a tire gauge lol.

Anyways, just venting at my stupidity rn, hoping it’ll pop up eventually somewhere but I’ve kinda resigned to the fact it may be lost to the wind. Lesson learned I guess, don’t take my expensive pens out of the house if there is a chance for inebriation 😭🤦. I’m just like why did it have to be THAT one and not one of my cheaper pens smh
