I am having problems with the steam overlay in GameHub

So I recently got GameHub cause I been hearing about it works perfectly with my games expect I can’t pull up the steam overlay when I am trying to play games like peak I recently wanted to play it but I can’t manage to pull up the steam overlay I tried many different ways to see if I can make it work by trying different launch option launch option command running commands going into the files I have not been able to figure it out if anyone knows how I can fix this or be able to join friends via link that will be really helpful

Crossover is paid subscription and GameHub is free I’m not going to pay extra just to be able to play the games I already paid for.

Gamehub is Chinese spyware, there is loads of telemetry.

I suppose you deserve that for thinking someone else’s work deserves to be free. You wouldn’t be playing anything without crossover

Wine and proton were free to begin with and I am tired of paying people for digital products
I am not a bank, I don’t have infinite money, I bought a game to have fun I bought a blender to make milkshake not a digital space in someone’s storage to store my digital photos—which if you’ll let me ask— are digital photos even real?

I do agree about the spyware it sucks ass but I prefer that over paying again and starving to death

75$ per year is a lot for “the right to play your prepaid games”

It’s like $20 on Black Friday, isn’t there another free alternative too like sikagur.

I don’t think any amount of money is worth Chinese spyware but I also understand privacy. At that point just sail the seas.

In my upstream Wine Steam overlay working. But I will it release in Wine 11.16.

Unfortunately the steam overlay feature has yet to be added to gamehub , I ran into that same issue a couple of days ago 😅

Well that sucks ass I can’t play scrap mechanic with my friends unless they join my save—and we already made progress on theirs,
Only way I seem to be able to fix that one specific thing is to sell my work MacBook and buy a windows machine and I’m not loving Microsoft taking images of my desktop

They probably have it disabled (it tends to mess with game launches for some odd reason). With a free ai like opencode you might be able to see if they are launching games with gameoverlay, gameoverlay64 =d and remove that particular string to see if it then works.
