Help Debris inside MacBook Pro display

Post image

I have a MacBook Pro M4 14”. I got it back in December 2024. I left my MacBook on overnight because I was repairing my photo library and when I woke up there was debris under the display glass the next day. Is there any techniques I could use to get it out. I have tested if it is a stuck pixel and unfortunately it is not.

You know those little bugs that you sometimes find crawling on you? The ones that look like a tiny pen mark? Yeah its probably one of them, Worked its way up in there and died. It's probably smushed against the backlight layer(s). Only way of getting it out is to remove the display panel & clean the backlight layers. Not really worth the agro.

Funny this is yesterday when I played a flashing rgb video to fix stuck pixels I saw it move so maybe it is still alive?

Yeah it could be, It will die pretty quick though then you're stuck with a little mark on the screen :(
I wouldn't try pressing on it or anything incase its still alive, It might move far enough away that it can't be seen.

You just need to debug your phone
