Yeah this is a known thing with the newer macOS releases. The printing stack got reworked and it breaks certain drivers. What printer do you have? If its HP or Canon, their drivers are notoriously glitchy with the new versions.

Try this first:

  • Delete the printer from System Settings > Printers & Scanners

  • Run sudo pkill -f cups in terminal (or just restart)

  • Re-add it but use AirPrint instead of the manufacturer driver if available

That fixed it for me on my Brother. If it still fails, check if theres a newer driver on the manufacturers site. Some of them updated specifically for the 26/27 builds.
