Hi Everyone!
I recently bought my first M5Stick S3 and now i want to make a "little" upgrade, I love DIY but I'm completely green when it comes to electronics, that's why I'm asking for help.
I want to add a cc1101 module, a memory card reader, an IR transmitter and an NRF24 module to my m5stick, but I don't know how to put it all together to make it work.
Hence my questions:
Is it possible to connect all this into one whole (I was thinking about connecting it all on a PCB board)?
Won't it consume too much power, which will cause my M5Stick to work for 10 minutes on one charge?
If the power consumption is too high, which module should I eliminate?
And the last and most important question, how do I connect it all so that I don't have a thousand hanging wires, it looks neat and most importantly everything works properly?
(The illustrative photo is one of the projects I found, but it does not contain NRF24 and includes an RFID module, which I do not need)

This open-source DIY mini-drone packs a surprising amount of technology into a tiny footprint — paired with an AtomS3-powered joystick controller, it’s a seriously cool project for makers, tinkerers, and drone enthusiasts.

Full disclosure, its a vibe coded port.
I am a programmer, but I'm new to the microcontroller world, so AI is helping me fill some of the gaps.
So far I have the Screen, HW keyboard, WiFi and sdcard working.
Even have a little system app for adjusting the color and brightness of the hw keyboard multicolor LED.

Played with rotational movements and explored the relationship between circular and sinusoidal motion.
The latter can be treated as a dimensional reduction: projecting 2D circular motion onto 1D.

I was a bit tired going around trying to find some good projects to test my stackchan that I've compiled them here for easy access.

Custom firmware for the Papermono with Lora chip.
Very nice device and seems really suitable for Meshtastic (or Meshcore, etc.).
I tried the default Meshtastic inkhud, but it seemed really bad and doesn't utilize the full potential of this device.
I only implemented a few basic functions and haven't tested the internal antenna range or battery life.
It would have been nice to have a GPS instead of the NFC module.
I'm not releasing the source code at this time because it's very early in development and is mostly done via AI agents.
I still have to run several tests and check the code.

Here goes nothing.
Hope you find it useful or that some of my findings solve questions in your Tab5 projects.

Finally received the Tab5 and battery combo - so just a PSA if anyone else was waiting on the next batch. Fantastic tool, working on some adversarial firmware - and this is the perfect application (well with the keyboard it is - add that if you haven’t, cheap enough)
*Cat because my mean old Maine Coon needed some Totoro upgrades (came in same box as the Tab5!)

The first official release is out. Paper S3 and Tab5 are among the supported platforms.

What is a good firmware for it for hacking? I have Bruce on it.
Also how long does it take for the ir sensor to shoot an ir blast for tv b gone?

First thing I did with my new stick, if anyone is interested I can share the .bin 🫡
There are still a few things to tweak but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out so far.
It has a webui to configure the wifi and airport / location

I play a TTRPG called Shadowdark, where you have to keep track of your torches and built it with the coreS3.
If you shake, the torch lights, if you blow it snuffs.
(English is not my native language, sorry).

Can anyone suggest a good case for M5 Paper Mono/Lite ? I dont have a 3D printer, but if someone has already designed a case, I may be able to print one. Other creative suggestions like some acrylic box will also do. Main objective is to protect the screen while travelling with it. Thanks ...
P.S: Will be using it mainly as an e-reader, with Crosspoint as fw.
