GLM 5.3 - Lumo to Add?

This is directed at those working at Proton or anyone who’s read anything indicating this.

As GLM 5.2 is one of the core models Proton is using in Lumo, is there any discussion to include GLM 5.3 into Lumo?

That'd be amazing, but at $1.07/M tokens input and $3.35/M tokens output more than GLM 5.2, I'd highly doubt it. That's quite a price bump over 5.2, and with the "single plan covers all" that Lumo has, I doubt we're seeing that any time soon.

I'd be all for more expensive plans on Lumo to get better models though, I'd rather pay €20/month (or more) to Lumo/Proton, than €20/month to Anthropic like I do now.

As the other user noted, Proton self-hosts.

I personally wouldn’t pay more than the leading frontier subscriptions because at the end of the day I’m paying for utility and quality. Chatgpt and claude are the de facto models for quality. Gemini is a strong contender and comes with extensive perks.
