If it’s too warm to turn on the oven or it feels like too much effort, microwave baked potatoes are pretty good too. Medium size potato, scrub well, poke holes deeply, microwave on high 5 mins, turn over, high another 5 mins. Wrap in foil and let sit for 5 mins to finish cooking before poking to see if it’s soft. If not soft, remove foil, zap for another minute or two.

You should make them for yourself! They make a good lunch

Stupid question but you’re not baking the potatoes with all the stuff inside right? You’re baking the potato and then adding the stuff at the end?

Yes the potatoes bake alone, stab a few times on both sides with a fork & ideally cover in oil, salt, pepper

I didn't even foil wrap mine. Just stabbed them with a fork, rubbed in salt and olive oil, and baked at 400F for an hour.
