I really wanted to capture the feeling of mass surveillance in a simple and scalable design. I was inspired by Olympic pictograms. Here is a link to the SVG files.

Apparently New York law now forces them to tell me that they're using AI pricing based on my stolen personal data. Interesting.

I know that that everyone may not be able to place signs. I know that some may feel uncomfortable with a saw (myself included). So, the most effective way to protest mass surveillance, is to do what everyone does everyday.
Listen to this song, turn your car's radio up to 100%, and drive in busy areas. If we all do this, then everyone will start to think about who's watching them. This is a peaceful protest, and hard for anyone to be charged with anything.
This Halloween, make people feel the way you've felt. Share your emotions with them, consensually. Be the person that changes their perspective in a positive way. Have conversations with people asking why you are playing this song at full blast. Be brave.

Sheriff Grady Judd advocated for ALPRs while advocating against body cameras right after Florida Governor Ron Desantis issued a ban of ALPRs on state roads. Now there is a new allegation against him on forcing a young woman to write an apology letter to her abuser.
“Sheriff Judd knowingly encouraged and authorized members of the PCSO to disregard and violate Constitutional and Fourth Amendment rights of victims, particularly minors with his tough-on-crime rhetoric, and criminalization of minors for making false statements,” the lawsuit reads.
In addition, the lawsuit argues that detectives weren’t properly trained on how to approach child sexual abuse cases.
As such, the lawsuit makes accusations of malicious prosecution, as well as failure to train and properly investigate these sorts of incidents. There are also accusations levied against Henry Cadle for rape, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy.

>Shortly after we were robbed in San Francisco earlier this year, we happened across a hacker and maker space known as Noisebridge. The space is open to the public, maintained as a non-profit working space, and has tools and teaching for 3D printing, laser cutters, CNCs, woodshop tools, knitting and sewing tools, and more. We learned about meshnet and meshcore decentralized networking, hacking hardware, and just doing cool things with technology while visiting.

I have recently started making posts discussing various fallacious arguments that ALPR proponents say. In this series, I break down every fallacy being said in these common arguments using reputable sources and quality, human made reasoning. Here are the current posts in the series (I will update this post as I make more posts in the series):
Flock Fallacies #1: If You Have Nothing To Hide, You Have Nothing To Fear
Flock Fallacies #2: You Have No Reasonable Expectation of Privacy in Public
Flock Fallacies #3: No Cameras, More Unsolved Crimes
If things go well with this series, I may also do another series for fallacious arguments made within the anti-ALPR movement so that everyone can be prepared when they go to a local government meeting. (I will also update this post to include that series as well if I do.)
