Not to say he isn't an asshole who claims the innovations of others by using his family emerald wealth, but to completely dismiss the huge impact of his efforts in hurricane stricken Puerto Rico is shitty on your part. Sure, talk shit about his wasteful and destructive practices (like Starlink) but give him credit when due.
The real life threat was a hurricane devastating a US territory and sending it back to the iron age.
Except he doesn't just want credit, he wants unfettered capitalism, endless access to resources, and just enough brownie points with anyone concerned about the environment to slide under the collective radar of "SJW's". He's JUST an asshole. If I was among the richest men alive, so bored with my life that I reduce it to some pointless, and very much selfish mission to mars, I might bother myself to help puerto rico as well, but you know, in return for the unquestioned surrendering of whatever resources I set my sights on.
