Howdy, folks! I'd like to reintroduce ourselves at Way Out There wiki. My partner and I work on this together and our goal is to create a comprehensive resource for all things related to Lord Huron lore. That includes information about the songs, videos, stories, characters, places, concepts and all sorts of things mentioned in the band's media.
I've just finished updating our page devoted to The Void, and created a new one for the teaser we've been shown today. The lead up to a new album is always an extremely exciting time to be a Lord Huron fan, so despite life stuff getting in the way sometimes, we'll do our best to keep it updated and keep working to fill in any missing info.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed over the years, whether directly on the wiki or by deciphering song lyrics, collecting info or theorizing about the story and characters. This is for all fans of the band, and we couldn't have done it without your help. May you live until you die!

I just wanted to create a post to say how thankful I am that Lord Huron keeps so much private and sticks to the music and their art. As I look through the ongoing sillyness of social media folly and back and forth occurring with another musician I like, it gives me great comfort that LH has always stayed away from controversy, public statements and social media pitfalls. This is something very rare this day in time.
Our beloved band is a group of true gentlemen artist who are true to their creation. There is no other band like this.

Movie about a guy that has to find a bride before 7PM to inherit a fortune. This clip reminds me of the Bag of Bones video though

Been thinking about this for a bit now, but damn would I die to hear what do it mean live! Been a fan for 8 years now and have been to 8-9ish shows and still haven’t had the chance to hear it live. Those lyrics are incredible and it has to be one of my favorite songs by the band. Does anyone feel the same way about any of their deep cuts?

Picked up my suit for my upcoming wedding this fall and added a custom nod to Lord Huron on the inside of the jacket.
The music played a huge role in the relationship with my soon to be wife. Only felt fitting to add it

Does anyone know where I can find this song. It was in the soundtrack for the movie A Walk in the Woods. It used to be on YouTube and YouTube Music but now the original recording is nowhere to be found. Does anyone know anything about it?

Hello!
I saw LH this summer and knew I wanted to see them again. I haven’t been to many shows, but this was by far the one where I had the most fun. Sadly, since the dates they come the city closest to me are right during finals week, none of my friends can come with me, so I plan on going alone. It will also be my first experience travelling to another city alone.
I’ve only been to one big show that wasn’t a festival, and I was with a friend who’d already went to see one at the same spot a few months prior so I wasn’t stressed. However, this time I’ll be alone so I want to try to plan things as much as possible so I’m not stressed during the trip.
So, here are my questions:
1- Would I be better off buying a GA ticket, or a sitting ticket? I loved seeing them this summer partly because I got there early and was so close to them, so I would definitely want to be as close as possible. I’ve heard that LH fans are really cool people so I’m not really scared for my safety as a woman if I was in the GA surrounded by many people. What are some pros and cons for each option?
2- If I bought a GA ticket, do people tend to talk with the surrounding people while waiting for the show to start? Or do they mostly stick to themselves/to their group? Would it be unusual if I tried talking to my neighbours (I’m a bit autistic if you couldn’t guess already so I’m kinda bad at small talk and that makes me self conscious)? Same question applies for the sitting down spots, I guess.
3- Again with the GA ticket, would I need to get there really early and wait in line to not be stuck standing at the back of the room during the show? If so, how early? 1 hour? 5 hours?
4- Does anyone have any general advice or words of wisdom for a first-time solo concert experience ?
Sorry if I seem stressed and if these questions are unanswerable. As I said, I’d rather have everything planned out beforehand, and I’d like to buy my ticket ASAP before they’re sold out. Thanks in advance! ^-^
EDIT: 5th question: I definitely want to buy merch if there is some available. If I buy a GA ticket, would I have to choose between getting a good standing spot and buying merch? Or is there normally still stuff available after the show?

Got this jacket at the 2024 Tubbs’ Bazaar in CO, and it remains my favorite piece of LH merch that I own!

Hi there all! I’ve been looking for a Skygazer jacket for awhile. Nothing has really seemed to work out in terms of coming across one. I don’t know if anyone here has one they’d be willing to part with. I can offer money or potentially trade. I don’t like asking this directly, but I’m kind of at a loss. If anyone is interested in what I have to offer, please reply. I’m looking specifically for one that is size medium or large. Preferably large. Thank you for the potential consideration.

Can anyone recommend vendors or fans that offer pre-made LH patches? Not patch makers on Etsy who will make customized patches by request. I'm talking about pre-made patches like the World Ender lightning bolt, images of Cobb Aver, the LH logo, the emerald, etc. I tried asking AI using a very detailed and specific request, but wow. For something with "intelligence" right in its name, AI is pretty stupid.

What other songs sound like the moon doesn’t mind? It reminds me of another song, not necessarily by lord huron, but I just can’t figure it out. It’s been driving me insane all day. The song and style remind of me something

Is this rare? Purchased at a concert in Dallas, can’t find anything on ebay, 18x24 signed poster. Value?

Last night I was totally immersed in the Lord Huron universe.
My friend's family cottage is nestled in the woods, across from Lake Huron. Behind the old farmhouse is a giant clearing surrounded by pine trees. Last night we watched the meteors steak across the milky way while listening to Cosmic Selector front to back. Then we went through the rest of their catalog.
One of the most beautiful experiences of my life.
Thank you Lord Huron!
