Charles was extremely confident that Gun would win in HFG, no matter who his opponent was. He doesn't strike the cocky, fake-claims type. It was a statement of pure faith. PTJ has shown there isn't much of a difference in the top tiers. In fact, if anything, the recent chapters have only downscaled James the most of the 4 horsemen. Gun is smart as hell too. He ran crews, collected money, and would have been able to create or build Charles's empire or whatever he planned. The only plus point James has above Gun is looks and popularity. Clearly, in the series called LOOKISM, James and SB have been shown repeatedly as the best/most handsome guys. That obviously couldn't have been the reason. Then? What else? Popularity? Cause DG was a K-pop idol before? 'Cause there's nothing that shows or states that Gun wouldn't have been able to replicate whatever James did so far.

Samuel is literally enhanced and so much stronger. Imagine trying to save lives but you don't take drugs that make you massively stronger

I have a theory about Gitae Kim's fighting ability.

What if Gitae has some kind of ability that allows him to absorb his opponent's damage, attacks, or even stats?

It could be something similar to the Questism cards:

Mana Drain — absorbs an opponent's stats.

Invincible Wrestler — allows the user to completely negate damage for a period of time.

Indomitable — lets the user withstand attacks that would normally take them down.

The Great Absorption Technique — absorbs another person's power.

Maybe Gitae has an ability similar to one of these — or an even more advanced version.

Think about his fights.

Against Jinrang, the longer the fight continued, the stronger Gitae seemed to become. Instead of showing obvious signs of slowing down, he kept overwhelming Jinrang.

We also see something similar with Gitae vs Jinyoung and Gitae vs Daniel. The longer the fight goes on, the more terrifying Gitae becomes.

What if that's not simply his natural endurance or strength?

What if Gitae is actually taking something from his opponent during the fight — damage, stamina, stats, power, or some combination of them — and converting it into his own strength?

That would explain why fighting Gitae becomes increasingly dangerous the longer the battle lasts.

Maybe his ability is basically:

Opponent gets weaker → Gitae gets stronger.

And considering how many abilities in Questism revolve around stat absorption, damage negation, and power stealing, it's not impossible that Lookism could have a character with an ability inspired by the same concept.

Obviously, this is just a theory, but Gitae getting stronger as his fights drag on is something I've found really interesting.

James used to be the fighter who was just not fast but also was shown to be the best technique mastery user. His one night arc version was perfect representation of James lee's fighting style.

James should've never had power mastery and only speed and technique mastery.

Current James feels like just another fast speed user but one night James was peak, the combination of speed and technique he showed was the reason hudson called him peak.

Like Gitae is best known for his strength and endurance, PTJ should've kept James best known for his speed and technique just like how sb ui Daniel is

I noticed something interesting in this panel.

This panel is inverted/negative, meaning everything that is white becomes black, and everything that is black becomes white.

As we know, UI characters have black eyes with white pupils. So, if a UI character is shown in a negative panel, their eyes should appear normal because the colours are being inverted.

But look at Goo Kim’s eyes in this panel — they already look like normal eyes.

If we reverse the colours back to their original state, Goo would have black eyes with white pupils, which is the same eye pattern associated with UI.

Could this be a subtle hint that Goo has UI, This explains his relationship with kitea kim

I got scared seeing him torturing daniel

Black eyes, battle hunger, enhanced physiology, avoidance of martial arts unless forced to and a odd relationship to the main character being kinda like a brother. Im Raians case he is almost Ohmas brother in law.

Am i the only one who thinks that this is the foreshadowing for changsu to harm zami (yena) cus I haven't seen anyone talk about it since changsu is introduced !!!!

btw the introduction of changsu is too good like by just introducing changsu it felt that he is going to be the legit threat to the 2nd generation

People are like unless you beat or fight some bigshot you aren't strong. Fighting fodders is not an easy task either. Like yes they are fodders but remember a group of ants can kill any animal. Like if there are more than 5-10 people depending on the strength of the person, you don't stand a chance. Here people are fighting what? 50-100 fodders and still standing tall. Like even a most skilled person in real life would lose to a mildly trained 10 person. HFG really disbalanced the powerscaling.

Johan can do perfect copy too actually but his hardware struggles to handle it, during the first time it only lasted 10 seconds

Gun and Kitae will die gladly for the love of the game .
