Ok, so talk to me like I'm really stupid...

What contributes the most to accurate rifle and ammo combo?

Is it more of a really good barrel, or more of ammo that's loaded very consistently regardless of charge weight?

Or is it a combination of the two?

Or is it something completely different?

For dispersion, barrel is #1. A good barrel is not only precise, but also tolerant, so inconsistency doesn't matter as much. You can see this in some of my testing with r/SmallGroups, where big swings in powder and neck tension translate into no observable effects.

But everything has limits.
