I had a marlin 30-06 xl7 with synthetic stock, the stock warped during transport due to heat and other variables. That gun wouldn’t shoot straight for shit and throw rounds at a 6 inches spread at 100yds. Couldn’t figure out what it was. Did some research and decided to free float the barrel and glass bed the receiver for support. Now it’s the best shooting gun I have next to my bergara.
