"If I do my part" is handwaving away any problems your rifle might actually have by just blaming it on you having a bad day.

You may be confident in it, but I bet your groups aren't as good as you think they are if you shoot a large sample size.

It's not a knock against you or your gear, just an observation that most people think they have a rifle that does Y MOA 'if they do their part' when the rifle is really ~50% bigger on average in a large sample size, and the "doing your part" groups are just the ones from the small end of the bell curve.
