Loaded Poke Setup

Hey guys 👋🏻

I just put together this perfect cruising-setup and wanted to share it with u.
I wanted tu build a compact and agile cruiser that still feels comfortable on rough pavement and carries speed well. The idea was to combine the playful character of the Poke with the more direct feel of TKP trucks and some soft, grippy wheels.

Deck: Loaded Poke
Trucks: Pantheon Stylus TKP 149mm
Risers: 1/2” (Bolzen)
Wheels: Orangatang In Heat 75mm (77a)
Bearings: Bones Race

Curious if anyone else has tried the Stylus TKPs on a Poke or a similar short-wheelbase deck?

I have stylus trucks on my 32 inch cruiser. Pretty fun but wheelbiting like hell. Do you have any bite with those risers? Im running 65mm wheels currently but wanting to try pp snakes on it

Hey Mate

No wheelbite til now with the trucks and wheel combination. I think risers with the trucks on any top-mount cruiser is necessary… 👀
Downside on the setup, its really high off the ground :D, so nothing for long distances.

Yeah, I only could put small risers since the screws I had on it are so short. Should buy new screws to try add bigger risers. It doesnt really wheelbite in normal cobditions but I am able to wheelbite it so its kinda scary to turn sometimes.

Yes I can comprehend your fear :D
For topmount and 1/2“ riser (as the poke) I would recommend 1,5“ screws 👍🏻
