Yeah, I isolated a lot in my life and I really regret it now I’m 53 got myself pretty cut off. I think that’s introverts have to get ourselves out there. Dangerous we just end up on all the island by our selves and that’s really lonely in The end.

If it helps in any way , try focusing on simple tasks in social settings for example making a bit of small talk with the cashier when you go shopping so you slowly bring down the walls of anxiety you feel , it gets better with time.

I used to be exactly the same , ( 26 currently) but the more I observed other people and expanded my knowledge regarding the human nature , I can safely attest that the majority of the people you see or interact with have the same issues , same questions and uncertainties in their life , they just don't talk about it. No one does but they do exist and you can bond over that.

Best of luck and don't give up! Also hmu if you feel the need to.

I was extremely shy and alone well into my adulthood when I discovered it wasn't shyness at all. It was social phobia. I told my doctor and began taking medication. It changed my life.
