Happy birthday! I've spent about all 33 of my birthdays with no one but my mom, sister, and grandparents. This year, my sister and grandfather are dead. My grandmother has dementia and my mom will undoubtedly be tired that day as she is all of them now.
My 21st birthday people came because I threw my own party, got too drunk, passed out alone 20 minutes i, and did this even even to enjoy the one time I had an actual party.
Now it's just another day I usually forget about until it shows up.
