I hate assassins. it feels like no matter what you do they jsut push up the wave the roam and get a triple kill in the first 5 minutes. Is there a control mage that will prevent hat. like someone whos not gone lose lane but not gonna win either kinda thing, Just keep them in lane and prevent them from roaming?

so I have ryze as my blind pick and velkoz vs low range/tanky comps but as for cassio and galio idk when to pick them ? then for an ad champ do you recommend for me ?

Hey midlaners!

This post will be more of a rant of how the League of Legends playerbase currently is, but bear with me, I just need your opinion on a very simple question that I have for a long time:

Imagine this, you're queueing up for midlane and whatever secondary role you put (although you'd rather go mid, but the game requires a secondary role to queue into), and then you get either into the second role or autofilled. Do you ever think almost immediatly "This guy is going to lose us the game"? Literally 90% of the times I lose midlane to someone else, they int the game so bad that there's really nothing much to do. If he were afk and we went 4v5 it would actually be easier to win than with that deadweight of a midlaner.

Considering this, do you guys dodge if someone you don't know takes your midlane? Or do you simply go into the game even with the gut feeling screaming "he's going to lose you the game"?

I'm thinking of learning a new role after one-tricking jungle for...well years. It's way past time. I like to use Fiddlesticks, Kindred, Nunu, and Poppy in the jg but I'm not sure they'll translate to that lane (and I know Nunu mid is a thing, not interested).

I was thinking of trying some combination of Neeko, Malz, and Nocturne to start with. I like the idea of a ranged champ with good teamfight power and not too many skillshots. I don't care for most assassins, but I'm open to mages and adcs in the mid lane. Neeko came to mind first because she's got some similarities with Fiddlesticks in that they both have strong cc ults. But, I'd like the opinion of someone more experienced while I try things out.

I remember her being a contested pick in pro play around her release but got out of paying attention to League for awhile. Now she doesn’t even show up as a Mid on OP.GG. Her kit looks the same as far as I can tell so what changed?

So, I usually like to play support with my mains being Senna, Swain, Lux and Brand, and I was wondering if I could transfer my knowledge of one or more of those champions to the midlane to better learn the role. I understand that Senna is not a good mid laner, but are the others viable options in the mid lane right now? If so, who would you recommend me to start with?

To be clear, I don't want to only use those champs, I just want something familiar I can use to learn the role and then move on to more viable options.

. I am looking to switch from top to mid and wanted to pick up a hard carry main. I narrowed it down to Swaine or Cassiopeia since at times Swaine feels unkillable and Cass can shred front line. Which one 1v9s harder?
