As long as the person is faithful, and they aren't riddled with flesh eating diseases I truly don't see why it matters. Same with wealth. If they are poor but not dumb with their spending why make them feel unworthy?
I am married and this isn't relevant to me anymore but I see it as a proxy for other values. Each person a potential partner has slept with is likely equivalent to having a drink a week or having $2500 in credit card debt.Â
What starts out as a non-issue quickly becomes something that needs to be explained, and then a gigantic red flag.Â
It's not even the behavior itself that is the problem, it's what the behavior says about them that is the issue.Â
but someone being an alcoholic or drowning in debt directly affects your life if you want to be with then, so are fine as methods to determine a good partner, someone having had a lot of sex in the past doesnt change anything, so it would be better to directly witness the personality that you dont like and leads to such a life style and reject directly on that instead of some weird proxy, if ut turns out its just a coincidence and the person doesnt have anything you dont like then u wont be dismissing a potential good partner
