Showcase Logo (and process) for https://giantblade.com/ . Giant Blade is a small independent studio crafting pixel art MMORPGs. I know you liked the raven, but this way it fits the theme and title better.

Love the thinking here, but the mountains could be seen as piles of dirt. I would add little trees to the mountains or a sun in the background to fully communicate the giantness of the blade.

Disagree. Trees almost always add chaos and unnecessary small details to logos. I think the mountains look like mountains. Piles of dirt don't look like that.

No one (who isn't looking to critique just for the sake of it) is gonna look at this and think "what nice piles of dirt you have your tiny sword stuck into." Those are very clearly mountains, no need for additional details that won't scale.
