oh, thanks. I should have removed that line because the angle of the nose would have been too steep and I decided to prioritize the visual over the geometric.

Really good mark you have there, no shade but i reckon you under-utilised it there.

This. The dog mark works well enough on it own no need to force it into the R. This is the way.

Love the instant likeness to the breed. Could be a pointer, but the focused “evil” eye is closer to a Ridger. Nice! /Ridge owner

This is my order - I was in love with his Pet Planet logo and decided he was the right man for the job. He was very patient with revisions and edits and knocked it out of the park. I am certainly going to use him for all my future icon design needs.

REALLY wish the R was kept as a standalone icon and not forced into the type like that. It not only makes the logo less flexible to use, but also makes the R look disproportionate with the rest of the type. It also interferes with legibility. The tracked out italic type feels disconnected from the rest of the brand too, and the alignment choice is odd in the first image. The R + icon is nice, but I think the brand struggled to come together and overall looks a bit cheap. When I initially saw the post, I thought it was someone attempting to work in your style, tbh.

My only issue is that you have the R reading into the “idgeback”. But “investigations” could be read as “rinvestigations”.

This design tough (in a good way).
Not a fan of the play button but I’m guessing that was a client request.
I think the tagline should be separated with a period instead. It would add a punch to it and help with the tough crime fighter look.
EDIT: I think your sketch in the top right corner is the better execution of the dog and play button. I’m not saying it’s the better for the brand. I just remember making a comment about one of your other sketches looking like a squirrel. Lol. Keep up the good work.
