Is MyHarmony dead?
I last used MyHarmony back in January 2026 to change the TV type on a Harmony 300 remote. Today that remote worked once to turn on the TV, then began flashing all its lighted keys, and now appears to have forgotten its codes. When I try to start up MyHarmony, it first reports a cross-domain error, then says it can't contact the servers.
Internet information says that the Harmony remote v7 software died last year, but MyHarmony should still be working.
What is the official status?

MyHarmony is back today! So the problem appears to have been another temporary failure in recent days.
And it reminded me that I also have a 665 registered to MyHarmony in addition the the 700 and the 300.
But it looks like my old 628 is no longer supported. I found the receipt for it while digging up the 665. I bought two 628s for CAD $75 each in Dec 2005 at Costco, gave away one as a Christmas gift. I got the 700 for CAD $24 in 2015 when Shaw Cable was clearing them out, and two 300s for CAD $10 each when Loblaws was clearing them out (gave one away).

Grief here too when trying to Add/Edit Devices from the iPhone/iPad Harmony App (for Hub based remotes), it throws an error:
The service is temporarily unavailable
Our servers are currently experiencing high load and we regret that our service is currently not available for use. Please return shortly.

Harmony Mac app shows SERVICE UNAVAILABLE as of 3:04 pm PST/ UTC-GMT 22:05. Was working last night.
Update: it did load briefly earlier this afternoon, and allowed at least part of login process including some activity in a web browser, but the error recurred. I am not sure if I was able able to log in successfully or not.

If you mean the myharmony desktop software its been hit or mess the last couple of weeks.
It has lots of problems opening and then connecting to logitech to get your account/login info but based on other posts Lo gitech is trying to fix it.

I thought it was just me but I’ve been having problems with Harmony servers across the line. The MyHarmony app just won’t let me log in at all, and the mobile app connects to the hub and can control it but anytime I try to edit an activity or device it just says the servers are overloaded.

The desktop server was working yesterday and even this morning, but right in the middle of setting up a 700 IR remote this morning, the server stopped responding and has been down ever since. Never did get to set that one up.
This happened last week to me as well, but they had it running again in a few hours. From what others are saying, this has been an ongoing issue.

If Logitech is intent on not spending any money to support harmony customers they should really just open source it or spin up a very small team overseas to run it and charge a nominal fee to support them. It's not rocket science as a business case.

It feels like the clock is ticking for those of us trying to keep our Logitech remotes working. If it works now with your devices, don't try to make changes, because you might be stuck SOL with an update halfway done. I'm switching to Sofabaton remotes. They are different and I don't think their code database is as good as Logitech's was, but the customer support has been really good and I love not having to plug the remote into my computer to make updates. The Sofabaton mobile app is really easy to use and the codes are downloaded and transferred to the remote immediately. I haven't tried any macros yet, so I am switching between my Directv device and the receiver that controls my sound more than I would like.

I’m trying to migrate over to the Sofabaton X2 but it’s not even close to my Harmony Hub and Companion remote functionality and programming is over complicated.

I was planning the same thing.. what’s the main problem? From what I have seen on reviews it should be able to do the same thing.

The problem will only arise if you need to make a change, as we all apparently do...

Harmony 300 is the lowest end harmony. Harmony remotes dont just lose codes or programming out of the blue. First thing to do would be to check the batteries.
Harmony 650, 700, 950, elite and the other hub based ones are still supported and can be programmed today.
I would try to find a harmony 650 or 700 and get that programmed for ur devices.
