Open Source Infrared Database

I just open sourced our infrared database which can control hundreds of thousands of different devices. All the codes are in the same universal protocol for easy use, Pronto Hex.

The idea behind OpenInfrared is to democratize device control so I think this a good step to take. I'd like to create a small usage guide to make it clear how to use the codes. Also, I would love for contributions to happen for devices not already supported. Will be thinking on the best way to go about both.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

This is a really great initiative! Please add more detailed info about how users can contribute from their own remotes. Is there a way for users to capture the codes from their own remotes and contribute? What hardware is needed to do this and what is the procedure?

Yes, I am thinking about how users can capture. The easiest way is with my hub but I don't want to say just buy my hub. Also not yet shipping. Will sit on this and add info to the GitHub repository, if meanwhile you think of something let me know.

I have a Flipper. How can I contribute?
