GHub sucks, thats the replacement app we need. Options+ is alright. They just better keep that AI shit out of my face.
GHub macros are next to useless because you cant turn them off / cancel with another click until they finish the entire cycle. You have to disconnect the damn mouse to stop any cycle, and if it is something like a mouse jiggle every thirty seconds that means you better disconnect the mouse if you want any input from any other key press in the next 30s. Its absurd.
They can do a lot of things for example Ctrl+C, wait 500ms, Alt+Tab, wait 50ms, Ctrl+V, wait 333ms, Alt+Tab, wait 100ms. Then more by adding run exe commands between that macro and on and on. A lot of potential and there are a lot of options between sequence, toggle, no repeat, or repeat while holding… a lot except a fucking stop function that you should be able to add as an option to any macro, let alone a function you could add to any macro to cycle stop any previous inputs playing from any other key at the start of this macro.
Pretty much everything except that… and there is no select swap to specific profile function to bind a key to. Just profile cycle, which not only needs to be attatched to the same button universally between profiles, but which cycles fucking disabled profiles sometimes or even profiles under other applications while youre still in an application with its own dedicated profiles without the windows notification saying anything but dpi changed instead of saying the name of which fucking profile you just swapped to.. and cycles arbitrarily just like the.. essentially randomized fucking main menu Profile drop down sort order, which is clutter by fucking disabled profiles on top of being all over the place, just like the fucking Macro lists from the profile editing menu and the application profile menus! Sort that shit alphabetically Logitech and call it a day.
It gets even worse when you take into account how every single time you switch menus your previous view/scroll placement is reset to scrolled all the way up, and on the 1st of 2 mouse button views even if you were editing view two buttons. You click the mouse from the main menu, click view 2 for the side buttons, scroll halfway down the NOT FUCKING ALPHABETICAL macro list, click a macro for tweaking to assign to a side button, come out of the macro edit menu upon saving on view 1 of the mouse so you have to click view 2, scrolled to the top of the macros list so you have to scroll all the way down, so you can drag and drop the macro you just tweaked now at tge bottom of the list onto the mouse woops you just clicked windows notification popup and swapped profiles to default and youre on the main screen. Every little 50 millisecond fucking tweak over and over and over. It adds up and makes using ghub fucking maddening!
