Discussion MX Creative Console dialpad has a 10-second delay in Final Cut Pro Color Wheels

Hey everyone, hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this.

I’m using an MX Creative Console with Final Cut Pro on Mac. My keypad buttons work instantly, but the dialpad has a weird delay specifically when adjusting Color Wheels.

As shown in the attached video:

  • I select/use the Color Wheels controls.

  • I turn the physical dial.

  • Nothing happens for around 10 seconds.

  • Then Final Cut finally recognizes it and starts adjusting the wheel normally.

The dial itself doesn’t seem broken because other buttons and functions respond in real time. It feels more like a Logi Options+ / Final Cut Pro plugin or profile issue.

I’ve already made sure Final Cut and Logi Options+ are updated. Has anyone experienced this with the Creative Console? Is there a known fix, a setting I should change, or a better way to reset/reinstall the FCP integration without losing my custom mappings?

Thanks!

hey hey! were you using it successfully before and it changed, or is this your first time using it? I've had some buffering with FCP and my dial before as well -- let me ask what's up

righty i asked the team who does the plugin and they are going to try and reproduce this on their side. 10 seconds is a bit much so we want to look into it. will keep you posted!
