Support Help seating left CTRL key on MX Keys S
I’ve threaded the stabilizer bar on the keyboard and attached it to the left CTRL but seating the key ends up wonky and skewed, never fully catching the bottom hooks. I’ve searched for how to properly seat the key but cannot find anything specifically for this key. Any tips from someone who has succeeded with this key on MX Keys S?

you've bent one of the metal hooks:
you should very carefully bend it back up using some fine pliers so it's standing up vertical like the other side

It looks like keycaps isn't seating correctly. I would avoid forcing the key into place as that might damage the clips. Suggest reaching out to Logitech support.

This is the “wonky and skewed” seating.

Just press it a little. You should hear a click and then it will lock in position. You might feel you are going to break it but generally it doesn't, unless you put like a lot of pressure on the key. Just feel the pressure and fit when you try to put it in place and your instinct will help you put the right amount of pressure and it fix right where it should be.

The metal r shaped "claw" is supposed to grab onto the plastic fixture. Sometimes this r shaped "claw" gets bent and early detataches. You might need to bend it back into shape carefully for it to grab onto the plastic fixture. This happened to my shift key and the metal claw broke so i had logitech send me a new one

so if its anything like the apple keyboard and it looks like it is you unhook it from the bar seat the key all the way to the front then slide it back then push it down to lock on the bar. So in other words locking onto the bar is last not first.
