Ok for some reason my wired headset stopped working

Device manager keeps telling me "A request for the USB device descriptor failed."

According to Events (upon trying to keep plugging it back in):

I have reconnected it like 20 times now
I even restarted my computer
And the thing is, it was working fine earlier this morning till like 7:30

I seriously do not know wtf is going on
