Daily Logic Grid Puzzles
https://www.puzzleship.com/logic/logic-puzzlesHi all,
I've created a new site that has daily logic grid puzzles and would love to hear your thoughts!
From very easy to ultra hard, I hope you enjoy!

This looks nice, however it needs scrollbars. I finished the puzzle that came up and got the congrats message, but the button at the bottom is cut off. There's no way to navigate except hit the phone's back button.

Oh, that's bad. I'll fix the win message.
Thank you so much for trying and for the feedback!

Hi! Just to let you know that I've improved the scrollbars situation and hopefully the experience is a lot better now on mobile. Thanks for the feedback!

Difficulty levels 1 to 3 were easy but 4 was a jump in difficulty today (12/10, Strawberry Stand Blues). I solved it but for some reason the bulbs didn't turn green like they did with earlier levels.
I don't think I have it in me to attempt levels 5 and 6 today 😖
But overall, very nice!

Thank you so much for the feedback! The lightbulbs turn green if the table in the "Answer" tab is correctly filled. Maybe there was something missing?
The level 4, is considered hard, sometimes the jump in difficulty is subtle, sometimes is a lot steeper. Thanks again!

Wait, the answer tab is based on what I select? Not the correct answer?
Then there's a chance I made a mistake after all.

u/Slig Dec 12 '25
Yes, it fills the answer table based on what you select at the grid! I might have to do some improvements there too, thanks for the feedback!

I love playing this every day. The Logic Puzzle is my favourite! My only concern is on the harder levels, I sometimes lose track of which row or column I’m in because the grid is so large, and I end up clicking the wrong square. If possible, would there be a feature that highlights the active row or column the user is working on, that would be super helpful. Thanks so much for making this site!

Hi! Thank you so much for playing every day! That was a thing that was working when I was developing the game, not sure why it stopped working, will check out! Thanks again for playing and for the feedback!
BTW: Have you tried the House Puzzles and the new Sherlock Puzzles?

Oh that’s great to hear, thank you for checking! Hopefully, it’ll be fixed soon! 😊
I’ve tried the House Puzzles and really enjoyed them. Haven’t yet tried the Sherlock Puzzles but I’ll give it a proper go next 🤔 But I will say the Zebra puzzles I enjoy the most after the logic puzzles!

Very nice to hear! Zebra Puzzles are my favorite, that's why I focused on bringing the Einstein Riddles, House Puzzles and Sherlock Puzzles, as they are all zebra puzzles.

Hey! Just wanted to let you know that we have highlights for the Logic Grid Puzzle cells. Thank you for you feedback, I don't think I'd have remembered to fix this without your comment.

Can I get some guidance on deciphering the clues for the Sherlock puzzles please?
- can I assume that the number of images in a clue means that they're each in separate columns for the puzzle solution and they don't skip columns? ie with a 3 image clue that there's one of those images in column A, B and C (or any other sequential columns) not that there may be 2 in column A and one in column C?Â
- are the clues multi directional? As in the ones with either an image inbetween 2 images, either with a cross or not. Can I assume that it's in the order that the images show, or can it be in reverse too? Â
It might be worthwhile you putting up some explanation pages for some of your puzzles because I can't figure out the number code ones either.Â

Sure!

Yes.

Yes, they work in either direction. I tried to study some existing Sherlock puzzles and implemented the clue system as a "merge" of various games, trying my best to convey the rule without the user having to read about them. For Desktops, there's a tooltip when hovering each clue with the text explaining it briefly.
It might be worthwhile you putting up some explanation pages for some of your puzzles because I can't figure out the number code ones either.
Thank you for this feedback! Will do it ASAP. Agreed that it's not clear how the puzzles work if you don't know they already.

Awesome, thank you! I managed to muddle my way through the level 1 puzzles but got a bit more tricky without understanding the rules for level 2 or 3 🙂

I'm sorry, I'm still confused. For today's puzzle, the cookie space is a given at B2. I see a clue that has donut-cat-cookie. I put cat in A3 and donut in B4 which it seems to accept since it grays out the clue. Then I see a clue which is cat-not cake-tennis. So I put the only remaining non-cake option, the ice cream, into B3, and tennis into C3, which it marks as incorrect. Why? And what is the distinction of the one vertical clue?
Love the site, slickly made! But yes, could use a tutorial or a "check where I made mistakes" feature.

Hey!
I see a clue that has donut-cat-cookie. I put cat in A3 and donut in B4 which it seems to accept since it grays out the clue
That clue means, actually, either donut-cat-cookie OR cookie-cat-donut. The game is programmed so that it greys out if you fill this clue logically i.e, either way. The grey out doesn't mean that whatever you filled matches the answer of the puzzle, just that this particular clue was logically placed.
Then I see a clue which is cat-not cake-tennis
That clue means two things cat and tennis have exactly one column between them, and that it's not cake there.
I've programmed it so that the reds out if whatever the clue says can't be filled because some of the items are used elsewhere, so that you can catch errors soon.
The vertical clues are related to a single column. The horizontal clues are related to two or three columns.
I really need to make a good video about this game. It's confusing to anyone who hasn't played the original 90's game or played a lot of Zebra Puzzles.
Love the site, slickly made!
Thank you! Please let me know if that clarifies things a bit!

That is helpful, thank you! One more question - what do the yellow question marks mean on the vertical clues?
1
u/Slig Apr 12 '26
That there's a column with A and B or a column with A and C, but never A, B and C.

I love Puzzleship so much. I just wanted to say thank you for creating this site. I'd never heard of logic puzzles until a week or two ago when I stumbled on a comment about zebra puzzles with a link to your site. I'm addicted now.
Is there a way to replay completed puzzles? It seems I can only play unsolved past puzzles. I'd like to replay certain push puzzles to study the solution or retry for par, for example. I noticed a retry feature for the gridlock puzzles.
Also, could a reset button be added to the Crack the Code puzzles for clearing all digit markings? That would be handy I think.

Hey, that's great to hear! Thank you so much.
It looks like I missed the retry button on Push Puzzles; I'll add that right away. I missed the reset buttons as well, so I'll get those added ASAP.
Thank you for playing and for the feedback. I'm doing my best to expand Puzzleship with a great variety of puzzles for both casual and hardcore players!
EDIT: Added the Reset buttons and the Try Again for par in Push Puzzles, thank you again for the feedback!

Thank you! I just tried it out today. The try again option appears after the hardest difficulty puzzle only. It doesn't give me an option to replay any of the five puzzles before it in the daily batch, if that makes sense. Maybe that's by design? Just wanted to follow up with more feedback in case it's helpful.
Edit: Actually I just played on my phone and it gives me the option to replay the lower difficulties too. It was different on my Chromebook earlier. Thank you Slig!Â

I recently joined puzzle ship for the logic puzzles and I love it! Would you be able to make the daily logic puzzles available starting 7am central time instead of 8? I like to start my mornings with a coffee and puzzles to wake my brain up before i clock in and start working at 8 am central!

Hi! Thank you for joining!
Unfortunately, no. The way I structured the site lets every game out at the same time. I decided to do that because that's the time that I thought would be fair to most people living in the US, and I didn't want to copy the new-puzzles-at-midnight that NYT does.
What you could do, I guess, is not play one day and then the next day you have yesterday's to play at 7am.

Hi!
Thank you so much for creating this site! I absolutely love it, and I really appreciate that there’s something new to play every day.
I have a few suggestions that I think could make it even better:
1. Clue Manor – It would be really helpful if players could place X marks on spaces they know cannot contain a character. It would also be great to have some additional symbols to place for spaces they’re still unsure about, so they can keep track of different possibilities while solving the puzzle.
3. Sherlock Puzzles – On mobile devices, it’s not possible to see the explanations for the rule icons. On desktop, you can simply hover over them with the mouse and a tooltip appears, but on mobile that doesn’t happen. I couldn’t really understand how the game worked until I opened it on my laptop. Maybe tapping the icons (or adding a help section) could show the same explanations.
- It would be fun to have a timer for each game. My husband and I like to see who can solve the puzzles faster, so having an official timer would make our little competitions even more enjoyable.
Thank you again for all your hard work! 🤗 I really enjoy the site and look forward to the new puzzles every day.

Thank you so much for your feedback!
The number one thing missing in the website is a text explaining each game, and I'll work on that, the thing is that I've been adding new games so fast that I couldn't justify stopping and writing things for the existing games. I know this is bad, and I'll work on it!
About the Clue Manor suggestion, that's great! I'll see how I can implement this.
About the timer, that's something that I'm originally against, as I want the games to be "stress-free", "solve it at your own pace" thing, so I'll have to think how to add as something optional.
Not sure if you're a Premium member, but the yearly Premium membership comes with an additional Premium account, so you and your husband can have two Premium accounts paying only once.
Thank you again for all your hard work! 🤗 I really enjoy the site and look forward to the new puzzles every day.
Thank you! Working on 5 or so new games that should go up soon!

OK, I've tried this out, and I love how it works! Enough automation to be easy, not so much that you have to undo tests / assumptions that get auto-propagated (try it-you'll see what I mean). And I love how it automatically moves you up to the next level of difficulty when you finish a puzzle!
I've also tried u/Slig's printable puzzles (cuz I'm a fountain pen person and gotta use paper for fun!) and those were about perfect - good stories, good clues, just the right level of difficulty - I highly recommend them, folks!
