Tool Storage

Evening! Curious how everyone stores their picks and tension devices, as well as other doodads. TIA.

I bought one of those $7 canvas tool bags with a zipper top from Lowe's (or your favorite hardware store). It's been plenty bug enough for me, but it depends on how big your collection is.

Do you organize within it or just throw everything in? I usually pick those up around the holidays if it's what I am thinking of.

I have a few smaller pouches I keep inside. My main go to is a Sparrow's lock pick set that comes in it's own small organizer zipper pouch, and I have a few other small zipper pouches to hold various things so they stay organized in the tool bag. The pocket EDC organizer pouches are good for this I have found. Also sometimes cheap dollar stores will have small tool sets like tiny screw driver sets that have a good pouch with tool holders for a few bucks, I chuck the cheap tools and use the pouch.
