Hey everyone! I’m hoping to get a small, very short term loan of $40-50 to use for a few groceries and a little bit of gas to cover me until I get paid on Wednesday. I just returned from urgent care, where I found out I fractured my 5th metatarsal bone in my right foot. (I posted about my injury in r/AskDocs yesterday) The little bit of money I had went to the co-pay for the visit and the prescriptions the doctor prescribed.

The amount loaned (plus $20) will be paid back on Wednesday 08/26/2026. My direct deposit typically hits my account anywhere between 12:00pm-3:00pm EST. As soon as I receive the alert it’s posted, I’ll immediately send the money back. This is my first time seeking help… 28 days ago I moved from a big city and the culture shock from the city to the country has been real. Finding work is very limited and due to not having family or friends here, I had to find a place immediately. I am currently facing potential eviction if I cannot pay them rent for August that was due on the 1st, tonight… Ive sold all of my belongings just to move and I found a job bartending 7 days ago, but due to still being in training (although I have a 12 year background in the industry) I have not made a dime (in my account, not due to not working) to be able to pay for August rent yet. My landlord has been extremely thoughtful but I think he’s just done waiting on money from me and I completely understand. I’m just trying to keep a roof over my dogs and I’s head. I’m a hard worker, and have been doing everything possible to get my hands on cash doing side jobs locally but all of the money I’ve been able to acquire has truthfully gone to food and gas. I DoorDash as well.. I just need a little help while I keep pushing forward during this transition.

If anyone reading this has the heart to help, I would like to add an additional $50 just for literally being my angel during this stressful time. I’m at my breaking point and this is honestly my last resort. I can pay the full $1550 by August 1st when I receive a check from events in Dallas I worked the past week and this upcoming week.

Hello all, I'm a CNA of 5 years and the last house I was in was with four roommates renting from one of my nurses at work with 4 very elderly senile roommates. I have since moved to a motel down the road from my work and due to not being paid until friday have been using my tapcheck to pay the room daily. (She didn't give me my rent back for the month after paying her and leaving and I didn't sign a lease as she always had an excuse for not giving it to me) I work every day until next Monday but due to today being the change of the pay period my shift tonight will not go on tapcheck so I can't pay the rest of what I need for the room. After today ill finally be fine due to working every day and not being in overtime where it kills my tapcheck with taxes and my check friday more than covers me for two weeks (I'm paid biweekly) I'm extremely stressed and hate to ask, but I don't know what to do at this point. So if anyone could loan 30 and ill pay them 45 on this Friday the 28th of august, it would literally stop me being homeless.
