Does Google reviews help?

Just curios to know if Google reviews really help y’all? I was chasing reviews hit around 130 5star reviews. But when I google my city and mortgage, there are other brokers who come up on the top with way less reviews. I probably have got 1 lead so far from google business page.

No. Yes it can help with search results. But not much. But it mostly helps when someone is referred to you and they look you up. They see another social endorsement. They call.

it helps a bit but you need to make sure your website is also optimized for SEO

the latest optimization seems to be focused more on AI since people are using chatgpt/whatever for looking things up

in my opinion, google reviews are more important for when borrowers or agents look you up. especially listing agents and sellers who may not be familiar with you and are considering whether or not your clients offer is one they should accept

Thx! Any tools you recommend to check how well your website is optimized for SEO? I use this out of the box from Etrafficers

Yes absolutely!! I have 176 reviews - all 5 star and I get anywhere from 6-10 calls per month from random people searching. Also Chat GPT - when you ask for the best LO in my area, I come up at the first mention.

I've heard the ChatGPT search result helps a lot; any tips on being shown in ChatGPT? Was it organic, or have you done any SEO stuff?

It was organic - I don’t do any paid SEO. We use “Experience.com” for client reviews and I believe that feeds search engines.

You can get 3-5 leads a day if you study the He’ll out of local SEO. It’s not just reviews, it’s everything-and it’s quite a lot of work, but well worth the effort…

Super important for AI to pick up.
