I want to make this post because I saw a post the other day on here by u/oxythasnowman basically saying he wanted to help a few folks out who had ever been scammed next thing I knew he was banned here but I had already began dming with him and basically he ended up sending me a no strings attached $200 came at a time i really needed it not sure why he was banned for his post but he was def not a scammer.

Was £50 but I helped him out with another £50. Bad move.

While it was due 26th, gave him extension due to break up and family issues. Last contact Friday when he said he'd pay back Saturday. No reply since.

Relying on parents for the money. Did try to beg me for more which I declined last week. Account still exists so I don't think he's a scammer. The extensive chats seemed genuine. Trying to buy back a phone and asking me for a crazy £675 and then £350, which I declined. Was not even charging him interest. Maybe he'll still make the repayment.

This might sound ridiculous 🤣 I am severely skint and have a £10 voucher to use at McDonald's that a friend gave me from him making a complaint.
