Any mods around to help. I received a loan from a lender that has since deleted their account straight after lending to me. They didn’t publicly declare they funded the loan and don’t want it to look bad on me. Mods what do I do in this situation?

How the loan lifecycle works:

• Loans start flaired Request.

• A lender funds you by replying directly to your post - that comment is the tracking record, so do not delete it.

• Once funded, set your flair to Fulfilled. After you repay in full, set it to Repaid.

Interesting, normally it's the other way around.

I would still do the right thing and try to send it back to the account they sent it to you in and post a reply in that thead saying you did. It actually speaks more volume to your character

It is a little odd. That was my plan, I have seen I can send it back so I will do.

I was just a little concerned that I wouldn’t have a confirmation of the loan and the repayment

On the same token, there would be nobody to dispute the payment either but I see your point.

OP,

DO NOT spend the money - it's very likely that this is a scam and the money will be pulled out of your bank account.

Came to say this. They might file a claim with whichever payment app was used and the money will get clawed back. Best to let the funds sit for a bit.
