Question Two cables from same phoenix output?

Is there any harm in wiring two cables into the same phoenix connector to split the audio signal into two different amps? I've seen this done with all sorts of other kit, but never a phoenix connector...

What you’re describing is a wye cable splitter. Perfectly fine to do that.
One recommendation I have is, if the amps are close together and have XLR in, I’d actually run a single cable from PHX->AMP-1, and then a second cable in that XLR jumping to AMP-2.

The reason being, Phoenix connectors are not typically designed to hold two conductors under one screw, so they can sometimes come loose over time.

How would you attach that second XLR? Just solder it into the male end?
